Wordpress speed can be a major problem. So, I decided to go with something different this time. I had been considering Ghost when I came across Publii and its offline update and sync feature got me interested. After checking out all the features and details, I decided to use it for my new blog. Speed is mindblowing — both Pagespeed and GTmetrix. Score of 97/98 in ‘page speed developers’ for mobile and 100 for desktop consistently. Initially, I was bothered about setting up the site but connecting with a server is very easy with Publii. Just fill some basic details and lo done! Well, I have to sync each time I publish a new post but given the superb speed, I will ignore that. My new site is literally flying - Statstic.
